Dream Interpretation - The Mystery of Dreams - Symbols Indicating Danger - The Spider

Our dreams are strange and mysterious because they
follow a logic that is totally different from the logic of our human
conscience and their language is also totally different from the
languages we are used to. We are used to languages made with words,
while our dreams' language is made with images, sensations and feelings. The
dreams have an author: the wise unconscious mind, which is wise and has
a saintly character. This is an organ that doesn't belong to the human
being - it is given to him by a superior human conscience that has
reached perfection and could be named God.The information and
the guidance you have in dreams is always protective. The unconscious
mind is always trying to protect your mental health from the attacks of
the anti-conscience, the wild side of your conscience, which is
primitive, violent and evil. It lives constantly trying to destroy the
human side of your conscience through craziness in order to control
your behavior, and this is why the unconscious mind lives constantly
protecting your human side, sending you secret messages in a symbolic
form, so that the anti-conscience won't understand its directions. There
is an invisible fight inside you, between the wise unconscious mind
that tries to save your humanity eliminating the poisonous
anti-conscience, and this dangerous part of your brain and psyche that
is so cruel and wild. You represent the human side of your conscience,
the only part of your brain you have access to.The other parts
are invisible for you, but they are fighting for you: the human
conscience. The evil anti-conscience wants to destroy you completely
and take your place, while the wise and saintly unconscious mind is
trying to save you and transform you into a wise, sensible and
sensitive human being, so that you may live happily forever.Dream Symbols which indicate great danger are the following:1.
The Spider - If you see a spider in a dream, this is reason for alarm.
The spider represents a great danger threatening your future. If you
don't pay attention to various important details of reality and if you
don't do what you must in order to solve an important problem, the
consequences will be very bad for you.The spider is trying to show you that there is an invisible trap in the air. If you are not cautious, you'll die there.I
have already explained to you that the dream messages have a protective
character and that your worst enemy is the anti-conscience that tries
to destroy the human side of your conscience through craziness. What
does it mean? It means that this wild part of your brain is constantly
invading the conscious field and trying to make you follow its
suggestions. If you pay attention to them and you follow them, you
start losing the notion of what you are doing and you also start losing
control of your life and your behavior. This is how you start becoming a slave of the anti-conscience; in other words: this is how you become neurotic. Now,
the spider may represent a danger in your daily life, which is also
related to the anti-conscience. Everything that happens with you can
give an opportunity to the anti-conscience to start influencing your
thoughts and your behavior, while pushing you towards the labyrinth of
craziness. The spider means that you cannot postpone an
obligation, you cannot avoid taking action, you must do something
urgently, otherwise you'll have serious problems in the future. You'll
live in a hell because of the problems you'll have to face, or you'll
regret very much for not having done the right thing when you still had
the chance. The spider is a warning that protects you from being naïve and irresponsible. There
are many other dream symbols that indicate great danger, but I cannot
give you a detailed explanation about each one of them in a short
article...I'm only going to mention them, translating for you their meaning, so that you may have an idea about their importance.2.
Teeth falling - This symbol is one of the worst ones. If you see in
your dream that your teeth are falling, this means that you are making
a very serious moral mistake that could cost you your life, your mental
health and happiness.3. You are flying in the air - This means
that you are totally far from reality and your suppositions are absurd.
You are an easy victim for the evil anti-conscience, because you
believe in what is unreal.4. You are falling - This is a sign that you will have a very serious deception.5.
You fall and you suddenly reach the ground and bump, jumping in your
bed while you are asleep and dreaming, which may even make wake you up
- This is a sign that the deceptions you will have will be of the worse
kind. For example you will be betrayed, abandoned, lose everything you
have, face despair, etc.6. A rat or many rats - The rats
represent men or women (depending on your gender) that only want to
take advantage of you, pretending that they love you. Be careful if you
have a relationship with someone or you are thinking about having an
affair with them, but you suddenly see a rat in your dream. There
many other dream symbols that indicate danger. Unfortunately the wise
unconscious mind has to show you all the dangers that threaten your
mental health and happiness...You have to learn the dream
language, so that you may understand not only that you are in danger,
but also how to successfully solve all your problems, staying out of
danger forever by eliminating the evil anti-conscience.You'll
transform this primitive and violent part of your brain and psyche into
a calm and wise part of your human conscience, being this way able to
live peacefully and happily.

Youth Culture and Creativity

Not all of the accepted ways in which Western
education and society tend to form young people are fruitful or without
danger, as declining values among youth in some Western countries show.
Many are caught too early into the world of kaleidoscopic
entertainments and material appearances, growing up within a cocoon of
the humdrum consumerism. That is the opposite of creativity, a numbing
and 'dumbing down' sub-culture. Demonstrative youth revolt against
parental and other forms of authority in the shape of drink, drugs,
violence, vandalism, and yobbish behaviour are not creative solutions
and bring suffering in their wake for all involved, eventually. The
rock and roll culture has, on the other hand, often been a healthy way
to revolt against social emptiness and mere tradition... and it has
creative artistic dimensions which many try to learn and express. It
is a mistake to think of creativity as having to do only - or even
mostly - with different forms of art. Though true arts require creative
thought and expression, they do so no more than science, engineering,
medicine and health care and a hundred and one other constructive human
ways of life. There are a variety of various ways of breaking out
of mind-sets and entrapments that are eventually unrewarding and hence
useless or even destructive. Creative behaviour, however, is seen in
revolt against trends in consumer society such as non-violent
opposition to forces supported by powers-that-be that destroy our
environment. Not without risk and cost, young people have combated
chemical pollution, destruction of natural habitats, hunting for sport,
inhumane treatment of animals in the meat and cosmetics industry,
extermination of threatened land and marine species and many other very
worthy causes, even against brutal opposition from parties with vested
interests, authorities and national governments.Above all, the
broadening of the mind through study, purposeful travel - preferably
temporary living abroad, and the consequent expansion of one's
understanding of relative values and cultures is important for
development which can lead to creativity. Such personal experience is
the great teacher for anyone who wishes to write, to study the human or
natural sciences.

Raising Kids in Today's World

Walt Mueller is the founder and President of the
Center for Parent/Youth Understanding and has been working with young
people and families for 31 years. As a result of his work with CPYU,
Walt has become an internationally-recognized speaker and author on
contemporary youth culture. He has written extensively on youth culture
and family issues and is the author of many books. I had the
privilege of spendingmany hours this pastweekend with Walt
Mueller. Two years ago my church booked Walt Mueller to come speak to
our community. As a member of the Student and Family Ministry
Committee, we work with middle school and high school students and
their families. We recognizethe need for parentsto try and understand
today's youth culture. Listening to Walt's presentationsthis
weekend mademerealize just how different it is for kids growing up
today. One of thedifferences he noted;for those of us who grew up in
the 60's and 70's, there was a more universal standard of what was
"right" and "wrong."Then media in the 80'sbecame more "feeling"
focused. Today the media leads us to believe everyone decides for
themselves what is "right" and what is "wrong." Kind of scary to think
about. Kids today are bombarded with marketing
messagesthroughvarious forms ofmedia from the time they are infants.
Our kids are not equipped to accurately interpret the messages they are
receiving. We as parents need to take an active role in being informed
of what our kids are watching on t.v., what theyread, and listen to
their music. Another interesting point: Did you know that many other
countries require "Media Literacy" as a course requirement in school.
Other countries educate their children about the media. Theygive them
tools and information to help them process and filter through maketing
messages and the various forms of media today. When kids are not
given the knowledge or information to help them process the thousands
of messages they receive daily, they easily buy into what they hear,
see and read.Left on their own, kids will try to understand their
world by themselves or with the help of theirfriends.Have you noticed
that marketers are trying to get our children to grow upand bemature
beyond their years? The media can be extremely powerful. Here are Some Tips to Help You and Your Children Navigate Through Youth Culture TodayEducate yourself on today's Youth Culture. Go to the CPYU web-site above and look for resources.Watch
for Parenting Education presentations in your community. Our church
partnered with our local school district to bring Walt Mueller in to
speak. Our school district has a Parent Engagement Network that offers
a variety of educational opportunities on parenting and children,
several times a month. Does your community offer education/resources
for parents?Become aware of what your kid's are watching on
t.v. Sit down and watch it withthem. Ask them questions.Do they
believe what they see? Why do they enjoy that show? What do they think
of the characters/actors? The behavior of those characters/actors?If
there is something you see that is wrong or does not reflect the values
you want to instill in your kids, talk about it. Be sure to point out
the good as well as the bad (ie not just the bad.) Engage in a
conversation with them. If you do not approve of a show, the content or
the language, explain why (if it is not obvious to them.)Ask
your kids about what they are reading. This can be books and/or
magazines. Pick it up and read some of it. If you have the time, read
the whole thing. Talk about the book/magazine with them. They may be
glad that you are interested and want to share with you. Reading what
they read can help you understand their world andgive youthe
opportunity to help them process it.Listen to their music.
Especially to the words. One of the advantages of the internet, you can
almost always find the lyrics to songs. Again engage in conversation
about it. Kids may not understand the meaning of a song. They just like
the tune. After this weekend, I have a new awareness of
youth culture with plenty more to learn. As a single parent, I knowthe
above tipsmay sound overwhelming. Our lives are busy.My hope is that
youwillcheck out the CPYU
website. Become more aware of the impact the media is having on your
kids. Begin taking steps to understand youth culture today and helping
your kids naviagate through their world. The world today is a much
different place than it was when you grew up. Do you really want them
to buy into what the media tells them to believe and value?

Keep Your Life Safe and Your Family Protected

Are you thinking about hiring someone new for your
business, as a nanny or babysitter, or for some other type of job
around your home? Even the nicest contractor could be the one that puts
your family at risk. You need to know the criminal background record of
anybody that is going to be around your family or your business. Here
are the reasons you should know the background of any new employee.1. ProtectionImagine
if you hired a contractor to do a job that is going to take a couple of
weeks and at some point you leave the person alone while your teenage
daughter is around. What if the contractor raped her? What if it was
not about your children, but about your belongings and you found out
this person was stealing from you and you didn't even know it? You
should never put yourself, your family, or your belongings at risk. Get
the criminal background check done.2. Peace of MindHow
much easier will you sleep knowing that your nanny has a clean criminal
record? It will be much easier to travel with your spouse and know that
your children are safe if you know what your nanny has done in the
past. How much easier will it be for you to leave a new business
employee alone at the office? If you know the background and know they
do not have a criminal history, then it will be much easier for you to
trust the individual with your business or your family.3. It is worth itHow
much would you pay to keep your children safe from harm? What about to
keep disaster from striking your business? These are things we cannot
put a dollar figure on and will very much exceed the amount of a
criminal background record check. These are very inexpensive when you
compare them to what you could lose if you end up hiring a criminal
that is not done being a criminal. You could lose your family, your
business, or worse, your mind.

A Story of How One Woman Finds Peace in Her Storm - When Motherhood Conflicts With Dreams and Hopes

You had your life all figured out and then he came
into your life, you both had sex, and along comes a baby or babies.
Before the children, he had promised to take you places, travel, have
fun just you two. Reflecting back on those memories of being in love
were at times sad, you remember how he used to treat you before the
children and he remembers how you used to treat him. Now you both are
overwhelmed with the baby's cries. There are those days you can't seem
to remember what tasks you were supposed to complete, because your mind
is retarded due to the baby's screams, the toddler's whines, the
telephone ringing, blaring television and everything else in between.
As I write, I think of the old "Calgon take me away" commercials.
Calgon was a bubble bath marketed to women who were stressed. The women
in the commercials were usually stay-at-home mothers. At the end of
every commercial there was a woman who would be in the bathtub
relaxing. Obviously, enjoying being away from the ringing telephone,
crying baby and knocks at the door.I had my own personal cry
about feeling as if my hopes and dreams had vanished now that I was
with child. I actually put my cry on the backburner for years, before I
let my tears flow. The idea that I was going to be a mother again when
I didn't want to had not really struck me until one night when I had
thoughts about the promises my children's father had given me during
our awe struck days. He shared with me some of his bright ideas for
places to go and people to see and I hung on to each and every one of
them. It was his sales pitch and it was believable. But then the
children came and the thoughts of yesteryear overwhelmed me and I let
out a cry. The kind when you moan and sob all at the same time while
reaching for some tissue to catch your runny nose and the tears falling
from the corners of your eyes. "Why? Why do I have more children?"I
thought (prior to the births of my third and fourth sons by someone
else) that now I could really enjoy my life! I was finally content! No
more pre-natal appointments, weight gain, delivery concerns, doctors,
post-partum, diapers, baby food, 3 a.m. feedings, teething...yeah! Then
I met someone new after divorcing the father of the first two sons and
I fell weak into his arms! As we made love I lost my mind for a few
minutes of pleasure. By the time I came to my senses I realized as I
looked at the calendar that night, I had made love on a day I
shouldn't. Cold chills ran up my spine and almost immediately, I didn't
like the man I had just slept with, the "being in love" feeling had
wore off. Later the same night, I felt a strange feeling in my body and
somehow I knew that I had become pregnant. About two months later I
would receive the confirmation that I didn't want to face. My waistband
on my skirts and pants had become increasingly tight from one week to
the next. I began to feel more moody and hungrier from each day. The
nagging feeling of wanting to vomit seemed to never go away at least
the first couple of months. I was pregnant and I wasn't happy! Luckily
for me, my new partner, who I was engaged to, was okay with having
children and never left my side. Fifteen months later we would have
another surprise, and even still we managed to have peace with having
our final child. So I share my initial feelings about my
pregnancy, because I know what that feels like to have personal dreams
and then have them dashed because of an unplanned pregnancy. I know
what it feels like to have no one you can confide in and if you feel
the need to, you fear that he or she will judge you. In the Christian
Bible, God knew what he was doing when he told men and women not to
have sex out of wedlock. He knew that we would struggle with the idea
of whether we want to be with this person, let alone have a baby with
him or her. He instructed us through his word to trust him and to obey
him, but just like the Israelites we acknowledge him for a time and
then forget about him until we are in trouble again. So how did I
learn to cope with the idea that the father and I will not be doing
everything we had set our minds to do prior to the children? I prayed a
little harder and I asked God to direct me to the plan he had for my
life. I used my free time to watch Christian programming, attend
church, read the Bible and self-improvement books even in my sin. I
didn't reason that I should run back to God once I became clean like so
many who have backslidden do. I needed him right then in my mess and to
this day he continues to answer my prayers.Whatever time I had
available I used it to do something related to my dreams. I got back in
touch with myself. I read books about anything I didn't know about as
it related to issues that came up in my life. For example, if I want to
know about menopause, mid-life, dementia, dieting, raising children, or
how to write a screenplay, I read about it. Then I created a file
folder in my mind on how to best use the information I obtained to help
myself and others in the future.Time was and is always an issue.
There were and still are times that I have a tug of war with the
children when it comes to my free time, but I refuse to give every
moment I have free to my children. If they are bathed, fed, and
entertained, then I could do something for myself. Yes, they would cry,
but the cry inside my mind and heart is sometimes louder and I give
myself permission to step away from the stress. I utilize every
invention created for a child I can to help me obtain my space when I
need it. Johnny Jump Up, play yards, walkers, swings, building blocks,
and toys with lights, sounds, moveable parts, etc. I demand that my
needs be met and when things get too bad, I take people up on their
offers of "Can I help?" which come once in a blue moon, I say, "You
sure can!"I keep myself open to learn about new things from
parenting strategies for things like temper tantrums to cooking chicken
in more ways than my mother or grandmother could ever imagine. What
keeps me going on my bad days is a quote taken from the Christian
Bible, "This too shall pass." I also envision what the future will look
like when it's just my partner and I and the children are gone to live
their own lives. We will be able to finally do the things we want
without the children!I know that children grow up and move on
with their lives and when they do as parents we should be progressing
in our own lives as well. There are far too many parents I have noticed
in my life that have nothing better to do, once the children leave the
nest, then to stay at home waiting for their children and grandchildren
to come see them, call them on the phone almost every day wanting to
know every detail of their lives because they have no life, or spend
long hours in front of the idiot box drowning in regrets. Mothers cry
enough in their young lives over their haves and have-nots, by the time
they become older they should be crying happy tears! Grateful that they
are now free to live their life how they see fit!

Parenting After Divorce - Celebrating the Children's Birthdays

After a divorce, dealing with birthdays can be challenging for many
families. It is especially difficult when parents are just working out
the details of their parenting plan. It's perfectly normal for
parents to feel a little possessive or even competitive about the
children's birthdays. They often feel like they need to create the best
birthday celebrations, in order to help the children overcome the loss
caused by the divorce. The best thing you can do for your children's birthdays is to avoid conflict over the whole thing. Here are some ways that other families deal with birthday celebrations:The parents alternate being with the child on their actual birthday, from one year to the next.
This is a very common way to handle the issue, but is not the most
satisfying for the child. When children are in school, birthday
celebrations are often planned for the weekend before or after the
actual birthday. If the parenting schedule is interrupted for the
actual day of the birthday and then the birthday party needs to be
scheduled in an awkward way to fit into the parenting plan, children
often feel frustrated that they don't have any control over their
special day.The parenting plan does not change.
Each parent celebrates the child's birthday during his or her regular
parenting time. This works well when the parents share parenting time
on a liberal schedule, even if it's not 50/50. Children get to see each
parent on or near their birthday, without the schedule feeling forced
or disrupted. Children generally like this plan and parents find that
the time tends to equalize over the years. The parents share the birthday.
One parent has time in the morning and the other in the evening, or one
for an hour or two in the early evening and the other a little later in
the evening. This kind of arrangement is definitely kinder to the
parents than to the children. Neither parent has to be left out, but
the birthday child spends more time moving around from place to place
than actually enjoying the birthday. Children are very resistive to
this kind of plan, especially as they get older. The parents celebrate the child's birthday together.
Whether it's on the actual birthday or for the birthday celebration,
the parents are there together. When the parents can be cordial and
respectful of each other, children like this arrangement. They feel
like they are the one who's really important and that the parents are
working together to make their day special. Parents who cannot be in
the same space with each other without fighting should not consider
this kind of arrangement. Each parent has a separate birthday party or celebration during that parent's parenting time.
This scenario is not recommended; it often makes children very
uncomfortable, especially if each parent is trying to outdo the other
by having the "best" party. Most children understand that this kind of
competition is not about them or what they want. But they will often go
along with the parents' plans because they don't want to hurt anyone's
feelings. The stress for the children in this kind of situation is
compounded when each parent invites the same friends to the separate
parties, which can be embarrassing for both the birthday child and the
friends. However you plan to celebrate your child's birthday,
it's important to consider the child's feelings before your own.
Children probably won't even remember each individual birthday event-
unless of course, it was filled with the pain and anxiety of trying to
smooth over conflict between his or her parents.

Valentine's Day Celebration

Valentine's Day is for romance and for falling in
love all over again with your partner or loved one. It is a day that
you should celebrate with someone special in a way that is unique to
both of you so you can renew the old loving feeling you use to have for
each other when you were first courting.Or if you have just meet
what better time to take this opportunity to be together and celebrate
Valentine's Day so you can let your love grow and flourish into
something beautiful that you will always remember and make it an
important day that you will cherish for ever. There is a
difference between young love and old love. Young love flares up and
shines in a light hearted glistering sometimes unpredictable way. Where
as love of the older people has a deep burning glow about them. When
you are truly loved by someone you feel strong and secure and when your
heart is full of love for your partner it gives you courage. The
feeling of love is beautiful it can not be seen but only felt in your
heart. Valentine's Day is a perfect day to take your relationship to
the next level and explore each other in ways you have never done
before. You can move from gazing into each others eyes to discover the
deeper meaning in your relationship with each other. However make sure
that you make it a joyous and fun experience for you to remember for a
long time.

The Law of Attraction - Attract Real Romance

Valentine's day is nearly upon us and many people
would like to have someone to share their life with. The law of
attraction can help you with this as long as you know how to do this.
Many people make the mistake of thinking that the law of attraction
will only help them to attract material things in their life.Using
the law of attraction to generate real romance will start with you and
your feelings and emotions that you have about love. You have to start
first with the belief that you can attract romance and that you do
deserve to feel this way in your life. Beliefs are powerful and we
tend to attract what we expect to in life and in love.KNOW YOU CAN AND KNOW WHAT YOU WANT...Knowing
that you can do something, no matter what it is lifts whatever blocks
that you may have in place within your own mind. When you truly
believe that you can do something, you can find a way. You also have
to know what you want. Romance and relationships are such general
terms. The more specific that you can be, the more clear you will be
on knowing what you want. Most people know right off hand what they do not want, but have a hard time of declaring what they do want.Know
that you can attract a real romance and that the law of attraction can
help you to do this. Understand that you are the key to achieving what
you want.

5 Tough Questions to Ask Yourself About Reliability

Do you do what you say you are going to do? If you've been told by
your partner that you can't be counted on, learn why nothing is more
important than your words and actions matching.1. Do you promise to do something and then just not do it? Do you realize someone is counting on you? This particular issue causes much unhappiness in relationships. This
is a character issue, not a relationship issue, and behavior that
influences every part of your life, your work as well as your
relationships. Saying you are going to do something and just not doing it is abusive behavior.2. When you don't keep your word, do you make excuses? The only thing worse than breaking your word is making excuses for why you didn't do what you said you were going to do. Making excuses makes you feel worse about yourself.Making excuses, regardless of what they are, never makes it okay. 3. Do you have a cavalier attitude about keeping your word? Do you understand that keeping your word is about class and integrity? Do you dismiss your partner's reaction as being angry and hysterical rather than focusing on your own behavior? Do
you feel that not keeping your word is just something that happens? If
so, you are not taking responsibility for this abusive behavior. 4. Do you often end up lying about what really happened? Is lying one of ways you squirm out of situations when you have not done what you said you were going to do? Lying about the situation makes it worse. Tell
the truth and take the heat. At some point, unless you step up and take
responsibility for this behavior, nothing will ever change.5. Does your partner say that she/he cannot count on you? If this is something you hear, you need to listen up. You need to be accountable - Nothing is more attractive. Do NOT say you are going to do something if you are not going to do it.

is no wonder that so many magazines are available to read online. It
used to be, that if you wanted to read a magazine, you had to purchase
it from the store and bring it home to read. Now, you can read your
favorite magazine anytime - online. It's free, it's easy, and it's the
way people read magazines, and other forms of media, today.Parenting
magazines have become more and more popular over the years, helping new
parents, and old-pros alike, get through the child-rearing years. There
are personal stories in parenting magazines, from parents who find
themselves in the same predicaments, parents that may have the same
questions as the readers, tips from the experts, and advertisements for
the latest products in parenting. All this info is at your fingertips
today, rather than only waiting for you at the store. The Parenting
Magazines online are just as informative, and just as interesting as if
you had the magazine sitting in your lap. The online magazines are just
another way of accessing the information. What's nice, is if a parent
has a question they want an answer to quickly, they have the ability to
check, and cross reference several publications, all at once. And this
way, a parent avoids having to purchase several different magazines at
the store.Another nice feature about Parenting Magazines online,
is sometimes parents only want to read one of the articles they saw
advertised in the magazine. With the magazines online, they don't want
to have to purchase the entire publication and feel like they wasted
their money. That is why having access to the internet is helpful, you
can simply type in the name of the magazine you are interested in, and
instantly, you have the ability to read however much, or however
little, you want. You can even go back again and again, or read other,
updated articles, all without having to make the trip to the local
store to do it.Some of the Parenting Magazines that are found online are:* Parenting and Baby Talk
* Pregnancy
* Baby Namer
* Baby
* The Sleep SolutionAnd many more....The internet
opens up a whole world to people who want fast, easy, and cost
efficiency ways of accessing publications. We can find just about
anything there is on the web, even answers to our parenting questions,
which is wonderful, especially since parents do not always want to, nor
have the ability to jump in the car and run to the closest store to buy
the magazine they want to read. Why go through all the trouble when the
ability to read-up on all the latest news in parenting is right at your
fingertips? Online Parenting Magazines are a great way to help those
busy parents who can barely find the time to take a shower.
